Guacho é uma tentativa de construção de uma cadeia de sensações e procura sugerir sinais e manifestações da nossa mais primordial fonte de lamentações: a herança paterna. Em constante deambulação pela cidade, quer de dia, quer de noite, Guacho, a personagem protagonista (que perdeu o pai) deixa que os seus pensamentos invadam a mente do espectador. O ser pai, o ser filho, o ser o filho que o pai desejava, o ser o filho que o pai não queria, o ser um actor (como o pai) ou não ser um actor, tal como o pai, ser alguém que todos querem, ser alguém que ninguém quer. Estas são revelações que se cruzam com a conversa do dia a dia, sobre mulheres, o emprego, a cidade e tudo mais... O filme segue Guacho num caminho que o fará ser filho, ser uma pessoa. Tenta iluminar esse enigma da nossa herança paterna. Guacho podia ser um pequeno road-movie a caminho do espírito...

Fatherless is an attempt to embrace a stream of consciousness and to give an account on a primal source of grief: our paternal heritage. Relentlessly wandering the city day and night, the main character Guacho (the fatherless one), lets his thoughts take hold of the spectators' mind: being the father, being the son, being the son the father wanted, being the son the father didn't want, being an actor like the father, not being an actor just like the father, being someone everyone wants, being someone no one wants. This 'being' potential informs the character's discourse with the lightness of everyday speech: women, job, city, rest… Fatherless follows Guacho on the road to becoming a son, to becoming a person. It attempts to cast a light on the enigma of our personal heritage. Fatherless could be called a short road-movie to the spirit.
