O mesmo não se pode dizer da sua filha, a curvilínea Caprice, uma go go dancer, segregada na sua própria casa devido a esta sua paixão tida como insana pela sua mãe. Mas a vida desta última está destinada a cruzar-se com a de Ray-Ray Perkins, uma espécie de Messias pela libertação sexual, dotado de poderes sobrenaturais. Ao ser atingida na cabeça ao descer a rua, Sylvia perde a consciência sendo imediatamente socorrida pelo guru. Profundamente alterada por este encontro, seguir-se-ão milhares de vicissitudes que lhe permitem soltar toda a sua renovada libido, tudo isto perante a incredulidade do marido e da preconceituosa mãe, que anda recentemente ocupada na organização de um comité da moral criado com a intenção de acabar com todo o tipo de diversidades em Baltimore.

Little is needed to radically change a person's life, in this case a blow to the head. Sylvia Stickles is forty years old, married, works in a supermarket and is chronically adverse to anything that regards sex, something which can't be said about her daughter, the extremely curvaceous Caprice, a go go dancing queen, segregated in her own home because of this passion of hers judged as insane by her moralist mother. The life of the latter is however destined to cross Ray-Ray Perkins' who is a kind of messiah for sexual liberation, who is gifted with paranormal powers. Hit in the head whilst walking along the road, Sylvia loses consciousness and is immediately helped by the guru. Completely changed by this meeting, thousands of vicissitudes will follow which allow her to release steam from her renewed libido, all of which is done in front of her incredulous husband and her bigoted mother, who is busy with a bellicose moralising committee, created with the intention of eliminating all forms of diversity in Baltimore.

Loïc leva uma vida estruturada e ordeira. De dia trabalha numa fábrica de chocolates e, à noite, dá azo aos seus desejos sexuais. Mas um dia o jovem decide fazer algo de excepcional. Não sabe bem o quê, mas começa por poupar dinheiro, reduzindo na alimentação - tomando inibidores de apetite. À noite, depois de longas horas na Internet e a deambular pelas ruas da cidade, Loïc regressa à casa de Marie - amiga de infância - que lhe oferece abrigo. Mas quando Marie se farta do papel de mãe, irmã e enfermeira, o jovem tem dois encontros casuais: o primeiro com um estranho homem no McDonalds, o segundo, que virá a ser decisivo, com o português Rui, a estrela de futebol local. Graças a estes dois recentes encontros e à perseverança de Marie, Loïc é forçado a reexaminar toda a sua vida, levando-o mesmo à mudança radical. Afinal, Loïc não é assim tão estúpido...

Loïc's life is structured and orderly. By day, he works on a chocolate factory, and by night he indulges his sexual desires. But one day he decides to do something exceptional. He's not yet sure what this will be but he starts saving money by reducing his food intake - popping pills to suppress his appetite. At night, after countless hours being sought after on the internet, and in the city streets, Loïc goes back to Marie's house - his childhood friend - who offers him a place to sleep. But when Marie gets tired of being the mother, sister and nurse, the young man makes two chance encounters: first, with a strange man from McDonald's, and second, and more importantly, with the Portuguese Rui, the local star football player. Thanks to these new acquaintances and to Marie's perseverance, Loïc is forced to re-examine his life and ultimately ends up changing. Loïc isn't a stupid boy after all...

Os seus autores proclamam os valores subversivos da criação contemporânea e ambicionam violar toda e qualquer ideia ligada à norma, contestando e desconstruíndo a sua hegemonia. O desafio politicamente incorrecto desta atitude é o de representar, sem qualquer censura, a pluralidade da diferença e o polimorfismo do mosaico identitário. O conceito queer é, aqui, a expressão da vida enquanto acção artística. Os membros que dão vida à Queer Factory são gays, lésbicas, bis, trans e / ou heterossexuais. Todos eles panssexuais fora da norma, para além dos cânones e das formas predeterminadas. Em constante contacto com a sociedade e com os temas que fazem a agenda actual, eles levantam questões que ultrapassam a barreira do LGBT e da sua diversidade interna. Os artistas apresentam o seu trabalho. Fotógrafos, videastas e realizadores dão azo à sua sensibilidade. Mais ligeiras ou pesadas, mais distantes ou irónicas, estas curtas questionam as representações do desejo e da identidade, sem ceder ao facilitismo ou à citação, mas antes no intuito que construir um movimento de aceitação, de boas-vindas e de constante questionamento. QUEERFT is made up of a succession of 12 shorts. Its authors proclaim the subversive values of contemporary creation and aim to violate every single idea linked to the norm, to contest and deconstruct its power. The politically incorrect challenge of this attitude is to represent, without any form of censorship, the plurality of differences and the polymorphism of the identity mosaic. The queer concept is, here, the expression of life as an artistic action. The people who breathe life into Queer Factory are gay, lesbian, bi, trans and / or heterosexual. All of them pansexual out of the norm, beyond canons and predetermined forms. In contact with society, current events and problems, they raise issues which go beyond LGBT and its in-diversity. The artists present their work. Photographers, video makers and cinematographers let their different sensibilities emerge. Light or heavy-handed, distant or ironic, these shorts question the representations of desire and identity without giving in to proselytism, nor to simple literary citations, but rather try to start a movement of acceptance, of welcoming and of continuous self-interrogation.
